The Ottawa National Diving Club had lots to celebrate last weekend at The Forest City Aspire Invitational held in London, Ontario.

Our five athletes represented ONDC amazingly well in their first competition of the season and came home with superb results. All of our athletes had standout performances over the weekend with each of them reaching top 6 finishes.

ONDC finished the weekend with 5 GOLD MEDALS, 1 BRONZE and 10 TOP 6 finishes!

Ava was a standout in her category finishing with 2 Gold Medals on 1m and 3m topping

the competition by over 30 points in each event!  Naya showed beautiful fundamentals

on her springboard events and is also coming home with 2 Gold medals.  Emilie showed incredible height and clean entires landing her in two top 6 finishes on 1m and platform!  Olivia’s standout performance came on the 3m springboard where she found her way

onto the podium in 3rd place!

Our greatest performance over the weekend came from Dominique!

Her hard work and effort were displayed tenfold earning her first ever gold medal on platform. All of her dives were scored in the 7-7.5 range which is incredible!

Her hard work with coach Grace allowed her to compete on all 3 events for the first time in her young diving career! We are extremely proud of your hard work Dom! Keep up the great work!

The icing on the cake actually came before the competition where coach Mary successfully completed the Competition Introduction Certification! This certification is her second level certification in diving and allows her to travel to any junior level competition on her own. Congrats Mary on your hard work!
