The Ottawa National Diving Club was very sad to hear that Ashley Griffin has decided to retire from her Competitive Diving Career. Ashley was an outstanding role model, a good friend, and a perfect example of what it takes to overcome fears to become the best you can be. We know that Ashley feels she has accomplished all of the goals she set for herself in this sport.
A huge thank you to the Griffin family who have been amazing volunteers and supporters of our Club for the past 5 years. Without them, the website and some of our fundraisers would have never come to light.
Ashley will continue to develop her coaching skills with our Club and would like to persue her Level 2 (Comp- Intro) coaching certification. It will be our honour to help her meet this new goal and we are sure she will be a most positive influence on our Learn-to-Dive athletes.
